About Me

After 15 years in the airline industry and over 30 years watching tennis, eight of which spent covering tennis at tournaments around the world, I have decided it is time to have a place where I can collect all my thoughts (but not my prayers) and make them available to the world. Because, you never know, somebody might actually like them...

Someone may wonder what commercial aviation and tennis have to do with each other: probably not much, but they are my two biggest passions, because when I first approached them they seemed to me very complicated, and I love complicated stuff. And since I have always said I wanted to make a living out of my passions, that's why I spent the best part of the last 20 years navigating the meanders of airlines, airports, backhands, volleys, flights, tournaments, rankings and air service agreements. And it may come as a surprise to you, but I have never confused one thing with the others.

I am definitely very talented (cit.)

And since I am that talented, I came to realize that I wasn't just a number-cruncher: I wasn't that bad even with words, therefore I thought it could be possible to combine my two big passions by writing about them.

Hence here we go, a blog. I hope you enjoy it.
