5 August, the blackout day - 5 agosto, il giorno in cui tutto si spense

























On 5th August 2014 the Rogers Cup in Montreal lost power at around lunch time and electricity was not restored until the following day. Just before the evening match generators arrived to save the tournament, but that day went down in the history book like the day when the lights went off on tennis.

Il 5 agosto 2014 la Rogers Cup a Montreal subì un blackout elettrico che durò fino al giorno seguente. Prima della sessione serale arrivarono i generatori a salvare il salvabile, ma quel giorno è passato alla storia come il giorno in cui le luci si spensero sul tennis.

After much internal struggle resulting from the deep political ramifications of the nomination, Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte confirmed the names of the two men that will be at the helm of the company. Fabio Maria Lazzerini, former Chief Business Officer of the old Alitalia, will assume the role of CEO, while the new chairman will be Francesco Caio, who is also the current chairman of Italian oilfield services company SAIPEM.
