Alitalia tries again: Atlantia selected as new majority stakeholder

Alitalia is back in business. It never went "out" of business, but now it is getting some more money, a new majority stakeholder (Atlantia), an industrial partner (Delta Air Lines) that knows how to make money flying planes (the focus is on "make money") and some sizeable state presence with the Ministry of Finance and Ferrovie dello Stato.

It probably won't make a difference... and it would be entertaining if so much of Italian taxpayers' money weren't being poured down the drain. But here is how the plan is supposed to work out.
